Few years ago, I worked for an event company that organized broadway musicals like Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sound of music, Annie and other popular theatrical shows. I enjoy these musicals, the music, the choreography, the creative props, the singing and the entire setup.

I know of a ballet dancer friend who is planning to travel to the US for a vacation in November. And when she finds out that the Nutcracker Ballet is playing in San Diego in November, she is already making plans to watch the show. Though I know nothing about ballet, I have heard raving reviews of this timeless ballet. Actually I am more keen on the gift shop that stocks a nice range of apparel, jewelry, books, toys and of course, nutcrackers!

These items make great gift ideas for family and friends during the festive season, especially if they are fans of the ballet. Actually, I would love a cute collectible nutcracker on my cabinet. Even if you aren’t a ballet dancer, you may like to get hold of a Moscow ballet bracelet. That makes a nice little gift for a girl friend. The Nutcracker Ballet audition tours will be coming up so if you know of anyone who’s passionate about dancing, this may be the chance to be casted for a role.
