When it comes to trendy shopping in Asia, many women will tell you that Hong Kong and Japan are the best destinations, followed by Bangkok, which is known for bargain buys and China seems to be catching up. Besides Hong Kong, shopping in Japan is addictive and nice but you definitely need to go with a big pocket. Shopping is generally not cheap, even for local products, it’s one place where you pay for quality.

I had a chat with a friend whose parents live in Japan and he was telling me that investment property in Japan is gaining popularity. Unlike the past where property prices were soaring high. Japan is a trend setter in fashion, digital products and anime. You can find the cutest soft toys, manga characters, most creative packaging and most innovation food stuff. I love Japanese snacks and munchies, only wish that they are cheaper. I suppose the bulk of what you paid for has gone to the intricate packaging.

Heard of MUJI? Muji is one of most popular chain store in Japan that stocks more than 7,000 items from clothing to tasty food stuff, to stationery to home ware, quality packaging…etc. I like Muji for its simplicity and minimalist concept for daily lifestyles and living.

Anyone likes sushi and sashimi?
