last minute in down under

We were in Perth, Western Australia last November to fulfill our landing, part of the requirement of becoming a, Australian PR. Australia is one place I can associated to very closely. I have traveled to every state except for Adelaide and Canberra. Had driven from Brisbane to Sydney with a few girl friends and was there with DH on 4 separate occasions.

Over the last few years of travelling to Australia, one of the best sites I have personally used for last minute accommodation is lastminute.com.au. Usually I would plan my travels early by reseaching in the internet and make tentative bookings for the accommodations. I just found out recently that lastminute.com.au had acquired a new look for their online booking site. It has become more attractive with nicer photo icons compared to the earlier plain and dull home page. The new site presents clarity and better search options, more eye catching graphics and even include a gift category now. Nice. This is a great site to book your last minute hotels, cheap flights from many airlines including Singapore airlines, Qantas and others.

Another new and interesting category added is the ‘Secret Hotels’ where you get the best deals from some of the top hotels all over Australia at discounted rates of up to 75%! And if you are looking for holiday packages, there are many to choose from at the ‘Holidays’ category.

    I need to go to Austrailia. I have always thought that if I had to leave U.S. for whatever reason that I would want to go there. Call me crazy.
