let’s cruise with a bike
My friend, David just bought a bike. Since driving can be so a hassle in where he lives, biking is the next alternative to bring back some simple groceries, he says. Actually, of all the outdoor activities, cycling is probably my favourite sports. It is relaxing, fun and a great form of exercising.
I told my husband that I would buy a beach cruiser when we move to down under. I used to go biking along the Swan River during my stay in perth and it was one of the best things I enjoyed. It is common to spot beach bikes alon St Kilda’s beach in Melbourne or any place near the aby area. In fact, my husband just got back his beach cruiser from his uncle who borrowed it for the last 4 years!
What I like about beach bikes is that they are made for relaxing rides and thus won’t burn a hole in the pocket. You can leave them at the porch without worrying that it will be stolen as beach bikes are not pricey like racing ones. But they are equally attractive and nice to behold.
