just a little about the past

I was just wondering if anyone’s been caught in a bad debt because of overspending in shopping purchases. When I first stepped out of the working world, I almost got myself into trouble for that. Being young, vain and playful, I was not good in managing my financials. I bought nice designer clothes, cool shoes, put all my purchases on my credit card and realized by the end of the month that I didnt have enough to pay from my junior salary. At 21 years, I had no idea what secured loans or personal loans were. At that time, loans meant to borrow from parents… I wasn’t mature enough to consider the bank and probably my application would be thrown out anyway.

So I could understand how young adults are like now. Like me, many can end up spending and not knowing how to keep track of their spendings. This is the time when education on finance management should begin at a younger age. It is important to teach children how to be savvy with their money.
