let’s go to kauai!

Now, what if you are a first timer to Hawaii? How should your trip be planned? One of the highly recommended things to do on your first Hawaii Travel is to cruise along Kauai’s Napali Coast. Napali Coast is the ideal destination for guided hikes, boat rides, helicopter tours and kayaking. A visit to the Waimea Canyon, on Kauai’s west side is a must since it is also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. The panoramic views are the delight of a photographer.

To plan for your kauai vacations, you can decide to fly or cruise from Honolulu. The best way is probably to catch a connecting flight from Honolulu via Aloha and Hawaiian Airlines with Lihue airport being the nearest. The best way to explore Kauai is by renting a car though you can still get around with shuttles and tours though a rental car allows more flexibility.

What’s nice about Kauai is that there are heaps of activities for families with children. An easy hike will be nice as the children learn about waterfalls and wild birds. The little fishes at the end of Hanalei Bay will delight little children. One of the popular activities is to let toddlers amuse themselves in the lagoon at Salt Pond Beach park. Well, I know Clayton is going to love this and while we have fun with water splashing, DH can go for a game of golf.
