oahu – the place to hang out
Being the most populated island in Hawaii, Oahu is home to my favourite hang out, Waikiki beach. I was charmed by the diversity, culture, busyness, shopping and dining scene. I took the most beautiful sunset photo at Waikiki beach and promised to be back again. I’m so glad I am in December!
What is really nice about visiting Waikiki in December is the nice breeze and warm sunshine. I was there near Christmas and the weather was fabulous. There was that friendly and casual ambience in this city. Seeing locals and seasoned travelers walking barefooted was quite unique for me then, since I came from a culture where shoes must be worn once you stepped outside the house! Maybe I should look into a barefoot tour.
You don’t have to worry about accommodations as hawaii oahu vacation rental are generally more affordable and there is a configuration for any sort of traveler – honeymooners, families, leisure seekers and groups. Once you decide on a budget and your desire location, picking an accommodation is a piece of cake, unless you are the fussy kind. Most tourists based themselves in Oahu for the convenience and accessibility to all the action, adventures and activities. In other words, no Hawaii Travel is complete if you don’t set foot in Oahu island.
If Waikiki is not your cup of tea, pick a vacation home near the mountain side where you can be far away from the crowd.
