credit card hiccups
I was shopping the other day last weekend and as usual, I paid for all my purchases using my credit card. After all these years, shopping with credit cards have become so convenient that I will pull out one without much thought. But something embarassing happened, I was told that there was an error with my credit card. Ever had that experience? I have been reached my credit limit, I make my payments on time… then, what could go wrong? Without wanting to create any delay, I pull out another one.
This is only but one of credit cards hiccups or inconveniences. Sometimes, I will request for a credit report to check through my spending history or for personal accounting purposes. I also notice a quick rise in credit card users among the young working adults as many banks are promoting 0% credit cards as a selling point. While this feature can be useful, it can be abused by some which can lead to more credit card debts. I always believe in the importance of paying in full for my credit card bills to avoid falling into any debt trap. This is also helpful in ensuring that I don’t spend more than I can afford which requires personal discipline.
