a bad experience with Citibank
Last weekend, while paying for my purchases in Marc by March Jacobs, I waited for half hour just to settle more Citibank credit card problem. All this while, I have been using internet banking and since the implementation of a one-time PIN security device, I have been facing problems with payments.
It is a good thing that I can do a collect call to Citibank no matter where I am, whether is to authorize the 0% balance transfers, find out more about the latest rewards for their credit cards. What upset me most is the officer who said she would call didn’t call back. And due to that, the technical error was not resolved and I couldn’t get access to my online banking. I wouldn’t expect this to happen because it is Citibank, known for its superior customer service and quality delivery. Whenever I compare credit cards, Citibank comes out tops in many ways and that explains why I have been a loyal customer for 16 years. But this time, they screwed up and did not deliver. Well, I’m about to forward a letter of complaint after this.
In the end, I had to resort to using my UOB credit card instead because it was wasting too much of my time.
