balancing up
In the last few months, I have been checking out dozens and dozens of online shopping stores. From clothes to bags to jewelry to shoes to accessories to children’s apparel, I am so envious that US residents can receive free or low cost shipping. And the choices are limitless! So since I’m travelling to US for our vacation, I’m already making a shopping list. I should be able to order some cool stuff and have them delivered to LA or when I travel Hawaii for that few weeks. Most of the shipping are done with 2-3 days… so, I don’t really need to be in the malls or factory outlets!
I am still reading up some Hawaiian travel info on the best places to shop and dine. In the last few years, many new malls have been added in the Waikiki area and it seems that some are feeling that it is getting too commercialized. I guess I would have to balance out with some beach holidays, outdoor activities so that I can allow a time of relaxation and rejuvenation. Moreover, my non-shopping hubby may be too bored with malls hopping and the cityscape. But whatever is included in the itineray, the main goal of the vacation is to spend quality time together as a family - to unwind, recharge and take time to smell the roses.
