i’m serious about SEO

Over a dinner conversation 2 weeks ago with Stuart Tan, my good friend, who is also an internet marketing expert and coach, I had a mindset change about my blogging business. It may sound strange to call it a ‘business’ but to me, anyone who is monetizing his/her blog is already in business :) For a while, I have been thinking about optimizing my blogs but honestly, I don’t know how except for exchanging links and following some tips by some SEO bloggers in the web. But this time, I’m seriously thinking about getting a quote from a search engine placement company to assist me in meeting my goals in this blogging career of mine.

There is so much to SEO, from link building to article submission to directory submissions. Of course, there are many factors that help to increase the site’s overall ranking including keywords selection, link ads and other optimization methods. But whatever SEO options you chose, you do need to consider setting aside a budget if you are serious about treating this as a business. For once, I’m taking my DH’s advice pretty seriously in optimizing my blogs and hopefully, better myself in my blogging career.
