Melasma is very stubborn and what works for one doesn't work for the other. My feeling is that there's no "magical" potion. Just a few expensive products that will work a little bit, at least until the next time you are out in the sun.

In my youth I had troublesome skin and though it cleared up a while ago I was left with scars from lingering spots. I tried Lumedia for 3 weeks and it did reduce the scarring significantly. It also brightened my skin which gave me a younger glow. I find the best skin breghtener for me is Estee Lauder 'Revelation'

hi,
I have also pretty lots of brown pigmentations on my face specially under my eyes which make me look much older. I am 30 and have been trying a bunch of different lightening products even gone through 6 sessions of medical AHA and TCA peelings by dermatologist. But still no improvements!! The Products I have been using are

1.Lumedia: I also used a whole bottle for ca.3 months but it did really nothing although I tried to use it accurately and efficiently. I mean I cleansed twice a day deeply in order to ease the serumé absorbtion and supported by using Shiseido White Lucency night creme which I´ll explain on the next number. But my Comment as a really experinced one in whitening field is that it does not work and is not that much mony worth at all.

2- Shiseido White Lucency toner and night Creme:
Well, this does really do sth even on old and serious dark spots as mine. It brightens the whole face and makes the spot gradually less visible but the biggst Problem with it is that it is too rich and too oily. I have got a comb to oily skin but even for those having normal skin would be too much. In the morning when u wake uo u see a brighter skin but full off exess oil and very opened pores. It is good just for very dry skin.

3- Neo Strata: some various Products
4- Thio Spot spot Whitening Crem
5- La Roche Porsay Melda D creme and Vitamin C Serum.
6- Lancome Microdermabraision Kit with VitaminC Serum
7- Dr. Sebagh Essential Glow Creme Gel.

I will come later and write my reviews and experiments on these products and am still looking for the right product and not yet disappointed. I just wonder with all those revolutions and high tech components in skin care and beauty area why can´t we still see an effective product?!

I will be happy if u or anyone else would share the experience specially in the area of whitening products.

Cheers,
Nasim
