what sort of traveler are you?

We have now come to a sensitive part of this entire travel planning. It’s budget time! Unlike me, DH will settle for any sort of accommodation whereas I’m more particular and careful. This is because I don’t want the vacation to be ’spoilt by filthy apartments, stained bedsheets, dirty couches, dusty rooms, stinking bedrooms… know what I mean? I am thankful that most of the bed and breakfasts or condos we chose in our previous vacations had been pleasant. I do believe in paying a little bit more for better locations, nicer views and newer furniture and extra features or better service.

Personally, I prefer condos to hotels as they tend to be more spacious and present a more relaxing ambience. But vacation home rentals tend to be more common in beachside town for bigger groups. For example, Kihei homes are more popular and cost effective when you are travelling in a group of 4 or more. Staying in a vacation home can be fun and enjoyable as you cook, play and stay together under one roof. Apparently, Kihei is a busy town favoured by many tourists for its three white sandy beaches. According to Hawaii vacation information, it is always a good time to visit Kihei as the island is blessed with sunshine and cool sea breezes almost all year long. For your info, Kihei is located in the center of west coast Maui.

Back to my travel budget topic… what sort of a traveler are you?

Vacations mean to have rest. If you prefer to save some money and go to a place where you cannot rest properly, then they are not vacations. Vacations don’t mean to spend a lot of money. It’s just to find a beautiful and peaceful place, far from the crowd, to charge the batteries of our body.
