Shopping with my husband can be a little boring sometimes. During our weekend outing, I am seldom given the pleasure to browse and shop at my leisure and own time. Because of that, I am used to buying a dress, a top, pants, shoes, even jewelry within a short time frame of 10 - 20 mins. The only thing we can both enjoy together is to shop for home furnishings and digital stuff. He usually leaves me to make decisions on ‘dressing up’ the house, whether it’s picking a new light for the house, a new colour for the curtains or new design for that piece of furniture.
Being someone who loves modern and simple designs, I prefer sleek finishes such as stainless steel and clean lines. For furniture, I like both minimalist styles and contemporary designs, depending on the mood and ambience I am trying to create. For a long time, I have been thinking about changing the outdoor lighting in our porch area. Besides, the entire house need some home lighting upgrades after seven years. The aluminum lighting in the living room has tarnished and the fluorescent is looking old.

I have no problems matching it with the overall design of my house which currently has a blend of modern and minimalist look. I would also like a brushed steel Acero ceiling fan to replace the plastic one that we are currently using. It is sleek, modern, simple and affordable.
