My review: Erth Mineral Makeup

Finally, I get a chance to try out my mineral makeup by Lush Erth sent to me a week ago. For a moment, I was lost looking at those lovely samples, there were so many in the package and honestly, I was so excited to test them out!

Being someone who don’t like a ‘made up’ face, I covet for a more natural and radiant look. I like my makeup to blend in with my physical attire and personality. And honestly, unless you are on the catwalk or camera scene, good makeup should not highlight your face but your personality. And if you are unsure of what sort of makeup can do the job, you ought to try out these mineral makeup at Lush Erth.

Since I was all new to mineral makeup, the makeup application tips of “Twirl, Tap and Brush” was helpful. I was reminded that a little goes a long way so I was careful not to use too much for my small face :) I chose a foundation colour that was best suited for my face and used the TTB techniques as suggested. Upon my first application, I noticed the semi-matte finish on my face with just a little foundation used.

Then, I added a little sparkle and colour on my cheeks with the Glow mineral bronzer with the Erth face brush. The bronzer worked so nicely on my lightly tanned face and what I truly adored was the natural finish and sun-kissed look. I had tried using many blushers but they didn’t provide the radiant look that I desired. With a little on the cheek and a light brush on the nose, I felt like I was all ready for an occasion! To confirm my glowing look, I asked my DH for my opinion and he agreed with a nod.

My favourite product has to be the Erth’s moth veil powder which offers a lovely finish on my face. The powder is so fine that it makes my face feels soft, even and translucent. This can be best achieved with the Kabuki brush - a product that you must get hold of!

The selling point of Erth mineral powder is that it works as a concealer to cover those flaws on the face and contains titanium dioxide which offers a SPF15. Due to the non-comedogenic qualities, it does not clog the pores. All Erth mineral makeup are affordable with no expensive costs on packaging. The simple sifter jars and packaging mean you get more for what you are paying compared to the commercial products, which charged more not because they are more superior but for their special designed jars and bottles. Oh, I almost forget to mention those lovely all natural, chemical free, no preservatives, no dyes mineral eyeshadows. They are pure, crushed eye shadows! Oh, look at those lovely shades above!
