all about my fave: the Mercedes A Class
It’s hard not to get men to stop talking about cars and technology when they get together. They like to discuss about what’s new and cool in the automotive scene and when a new car is launched, they will even schedule a test drive together. Well, we women talk just about anything else, from the closeout sale at the jewelry store to the latest trends in clothing, apparel, shoes and bags. I like luxurious cars too and can’t wait to buy an A Class Mercedes one day. DH makes it clear that we can only buy used cars and not brand new ones, especially for luxurious cars. He always tells me about the high depreciation of brand new luxurious cars. For me, brand new cars are nice but if I have to settle for a used car, it mustn’t be more than three years old.
I have adored the Mercedes A Class since it was first seen on the streets. The stylish and compact body with its spacious interiors is just the right kind for me. It is not overly big and not that small either. Due to designer influence in me, I like the unconventional look of the A Class, especially the red colour! The only used Mercedes I had driven was my friend’s E Class which I thought was a little conventional and mature looking. The steering wheel was firm and stable though I felt like I was handling a ‘big’ machine. It was just too big for my petite stature. I must say that the passenger’s seat was spacious and definitely a great car for families with children. From my friend’s experience with her present Mercedes E Class, she always reminds me to buy used Mercedes only from experienced and trusted Mercedes dealers. That way, you are assured of good after sales service and support should you run into any problems with the car.
For me, the A Class is still my preferred Mercedes model and if DH doesn’t mind, a SLK is great on those balmy evenings and mild summers… that one is really cool! What is your favourite Mercedes model?
