great gifts for over the hill birthdays
I like to tease my hubby on his babyboomer status and obviously, he doesn’t enjoy that
Just the other day, we were having lunch and he was talking about how time flew and he would be reaching another milestone in a couple years’ time.
It just occurred to me he would be turning 50! My hubby is not that sort who throws birthday parties as he doesn’t like friends to know he’s a year older (lol) but I promise myself that I won’t let his 50th birthday slips by like this. It got me thinking about what I should buy him for a 50th birthday gift. He doesn’t golf anymore, he doesn’t like designer clothing, he doesn’t fancy the material stuff so what should I get for this fussy man of mine? An idea came to me when I saw this DIY Birthday Plate and Pen, which I thought would make a great over the hill gift. With the DIY kit, I can paint my own designs and get Clayton involved too - that would be a meaningful and special gift. Another nice and inspiring gift would be this Father’s Poem Frame which comes with a special poem and a place for me to attach a family photo..
There are many other great gift ideas at Abernook and this pretty and fashionable bracelet will bring delight to my good friend, Judy, who will be turning 50 next year! She is such a wonderful sister to me and even at this age, she’s humorous, charismatic, lively, young-at-heart and full of energy. I believe she will like this I’m Fifty Birthday Bracelet and this cute Celebrate Fifty Birthday Kit.
