shopping for a digital videocam

For the last couple of weeks, we have been shopping around for a good and affordable digital videocam for our Hawaii trip. We have never owned a digital videocam as we always find that our digital camera is suffice to record short videos on our family vacations and outings. But with digital camera, the options are limited and the video file size can load up the memory too fast. After consulting a good friend, who had a bad experience with purchasing an expensive digital product, which led to the intervention of a product liability attorney, we decided to take out time to find a good retailer. I’ll be reading more digital videocam reviews on the web to gather more information before investing in one. Anyone has a recommendation?
