cheap DIY hair treatments
The crown of glory is an important asset for most of us - men and women, particularly the latter. For that reason, we will go great lengths to make our hair beautiful, shiny, silky, soft, lustous….etc. Here are some DIY home treatments you can try out in your spare time:
• A beer rinse is one of the oldest ways to condition or to bring shine to your hair. I tried that a couple of times with some overnight beers and it was effective, but I got lazy
• Lemon juice mixed with water can also be used as a last rinse to give your hair a shiny and bouncy look. Love the smell of lemon with this rinse. My great grandma did this after every hair wash right up til she was 90!
• Honey can be used to keep your scalp moisturized. Make honey lotion for your hair by mixing 3 teaspoons of honey for pint of water.
• The use of henna as a natural conditioner proves to be very beneficial for your hair. It restores volume to the hair with a natural reddish tint.
• To get that extra volume for your hair, coat egg white on your hair after shampooing. Leave it on for few minutes and wash well. It feels a little uncomfortable but the egg white softens the hair and gives it a bouncy look.

I love those “out of the kitchen” treatments
I’ve got a few:
Rinsing your hair with vinegar mixed with water makes it really soft and shiny.
To give your hair an inexpensive oil treatment, you can massage some warm olive oil in your hair and wrap it in a towel for half an hour or so and then wash. Great for dry hair.
