women’s hair loss project

Hair loss is no laughing matter, especially for women. I know the anxiety of a woman losing hair and the fear of losing that crown of glory. When I was in my early 20s, I had long hair to the waist and that was the time when I realized my hair was dropping. I got worried and started to take extra care in ensuring that my shampoo and conditioners are not too harsh for my scalp. Our hair is functional but it is ornamental too. I have had girl friends who have spent thousands of dollars to fight their hair loss problems, I have witnessed their embarrassment and fear.

There are not many who can be as bold as the author of Women’s Hair Loss Project, who boldly talks about her journey and experiences in coping with hair loss. As I read her posts, I can empathize with her concerns and feelings cos I am a woman too. But her stories at Womens Hair Loss are told to give hope, confidence and encouragement to those who are in the same plight. In response to her stories, you are welcomed to share yours too. If you do not have hair loss problems, then you should also start taking care of it like the way you look after your body. Our hair needs to be nourished and cared for and hair must have more care than just a daily combing or brushing.
