still hoping to visit Las Vegas
You can imagine the disappointment on my face when DH changes his mind about driving to Las Vegas. I was so excited earlier on and was already scouting for a nice place to stay for that short trip after Christmas. See, DH is not that sort who enjoys driving for five hours and after hearing that the drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is not an exciting one, he changes his mind 
Nevertheless, there lies a hint of hope since we are about 3 months away from our family vacation. I’m still hoping to see the Bellagio fountains, book our tickets to Cirque De Soleil and shop til I drop at the brand outlets. After all, my Las Vegas memories are nothing but glimpses of bright lights, magnificient architecture and busy casinos. Oh yes, I remembered the erupting volcano show at a ‘don’t know what name’ hotel… that was so long ago. When it comes to Las Vegas hotels, you are spoilt for choices.
