It is so good to know that there are so many designers out there who believe in recycling. In respect to being environmental friendly, these designers have used their talents for good cause, creating innovative designs and products from recycled material - from using billboards to scraps, here is another website that believes in recycled designs.
Seabags.com is founded by two ladies who make bags out of recycled sails. Since 1999, they have been making custom tote bags out of recycled sails with every bag sailing around the world before it even leaves the shop. Every bag is individually designed and inspired from the sail itself which explains the vary in texture and fabric. They are durable, water resistant and washing-machine friendly. Most of the bags (like most sails) are white or off white dacron with a colored design on them. The rope handles are hand-spliced in their shop in Portland, Maine - the splice is a nautical skill and what differentiates a Sea Bag. All Sea Bags totes come in small, medium and large and a variety of designs and colors.
