Part of the fun as a child is attending school plays, dressed up parties and school concerts. I remembered those times where I looked forward to dress up like a princess and parade on the stage in the fancy dress concert. Some of my school mates would be dressed in their fanciful costumes too. One would look like superman and another would be wearing a mickey suit - it was fun!
