product review: Vegecell Nighttime Hydrator with Green Tea
It feels good to know that you are putting safe products on your face. I bought a bottle of Vegecell Nighttime Hydrator with Green Tea couple of months ago after reading about the raving reviews at Aubrey’s website. It’s hard to resist it when I read that the hydrating gel is packed with over two dozen herbals and it’s formulated for normal-to-oily and sensitive complexions. Here are the product benefits from the website:
- Replenishes lost moisture with herbal emollients and natural vitamins.
- Restores softness and elasticity to the skin.
- Made with Matcha green tea, an anti-oxidant 20 times more powerful that vitamin E, to discourage the formation of cancer-causing free radicals.
- Refreshes and smoothes the complexion, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
While the gel has a nice and pleasant fragrance, it does feel a little sticky after a few minutes of application. But interestingly, the sticky feeling disappears after a while and my skin feels smooth and silky. Perhaps, it works well if you are in a less humid climate or if you are sleeping in an air-con room or else you may still feel the stickiness. For the price of $18.75, it is a good investment since you can have the peace of mind that all ingredients used are organic and chemical free. I’m still quite new with Aubrey Organics but so far, the Rosa Mosqueta® Nourishing Conditioner has been my favourite.
