christmas lights and holiday gift ideas
In less than three months’ time, Christmas is here again. A timeless holiday gift idea in the gift of books: photo albums and scrapbooks. Whenever a natural disaster strikes and someone’s home has become destroyed, when asked what they miss the most out of their belongings, it is always the family photo album. Photos hold our memories with them, and help remind us of where we came from and what we have become. Thus small, handmade collections of special photos are always a welcome and timeless gift to receive.
For those who are believers, a wonderful and timeless holiday gift idea is that of the Good News, also known as the Holy Bible. For quite a long time, passing down the Holy Scriptures from Parent to Child has been an important tradition, and one never taken lightly. The old family Bible, although tattered and torn and perhaps even worn in a few places, it is a special part of the family and is more precious to them than gold, silver or even platinum. Bibles and other such books always make a smart and timeless gift to give.
And of course, Christmas isn’t Christmas if we miss out on closed family and friends, christmas lights, christmas fruitcakes, turkey, mince pies…etc. These days, those led christmas lights are attractive, colourful and versatile. They can sure add alot of cheer and ambience to the festive celebration. Of course, we can’t omit the Christmas ornaments on the Christmas tree which liven up the home and bring much glitter and colours to the home.

I love the holidays! My tradition at Christmas is to give a special ornament to each family member to put on tree. They love getting them and when they have families of their own, can pass this tradition down to them too.
