Just a while ago, I was reading a newsletter sent to me by Environmental Working Group who wrote about lead being used in makeup, particularly lipstick. According to Wikipedia, lead may cause “irreversible neurological damage as well as renal disease, cardiovascular effects, and reproductive toxicity”.
As parents, we should also be responsible for the toys we give to our children.
