look out for this new cool search engine
The most popular way that almost all people find websites is by using search engines like Google.com or Yahoo.com. Actually, Google is responsible for almost half of the entire internet searches in the world.
According to a survey 26% of internet users are those who visit websites as consumers. This means that companies need to find out ways to attract online guests. Just because an organization has a website does not mean that people are then likely to flock there for a visit. It takes more than nice graphics and colorful backdrop to lure customers to the site, and a much greater challenge to ensure that they do come back.
Another new web and mobile based search engine known as What’s Open will be unveiled very soon and according to what I know, this is a sophisticated and cool one that comes with tons of unique features. It promises to offer seamless integration and provides search information that is current and ‘live’! From what I understand, What’s Open has more than 50 million business listings and the beta site is currently tested by more than 100,000 users! Well, be patient, look out for the new beta roll out of WhatsOpen.com!

Great tip, Doris. I hadn’t heard of WhatsOpen.com yet. Apparently, it’s been creating some buzz in Silicon Valley. For some reason, though, I have my doubts. We’ll see.
Personally, I prefer to do my searching at Zuula. It’s fast, and it gives me easy access to results from many different search engines — from the “usual suspects” to lesser known engines like Mojeek and Alexa.
Thanks for the info, LIsa.
