BYO grocery bag for a greener home
Everytime I see another eco-friendly grocery bag in the web, I’ll be guilty of not remembering to bring mine on a weekeend grocery shopping trip. I admit I need to make a conscious effort to bring my own shopping bag to the stores. And for those of you who want a big bag to store all your groceries, without cramping all your produce and edibles like jam-packed sardines, then have a look at one of these minusbags, who are designed by MB Mullan in Brooklyn.
These bags are sent to New Hampshire to be hand-stitched by a family owned company that is Fair Labor Association certified. There are currently five designs to choose from, all bags measure 15″ high by 18″ wide with a 7″ gusset, except for the large grocery tote, which is 17″ high by 18″ wide. The blue and grey bags have a cotton web handle; brown bags have a nylon web handle. One bag holds more than 2 plastic grocery bags, the large tote holds as much as 3 plastic bags. All bags are 100% made in the U.S.!
