my shopping spree in waikiki

This is our fourth day in Waikiki, Hawaii and we are enjoying every bit of it. For me, this is a shopping paradise though it is an island packed with too many high end luxury branded stores which I may not be able to afford. But you can still find some cool home grown brand names like Crazy Shirt, Honolua Surf Co, Local Fever and others. Be ready to see busy stores in shops like Louis Vuitton, Coach, Gucci, DFS and other big names. In fact, this seems to be a real shopping paradise for the Japanese than anyone else on this island!

As for me, I had my own share of shopping indulgence, stocking up La Mer products from Neiman Marcus and spending half a day in Waikele Shopping Outlets. La Mer products are cheaper in the US, saving me anywhere between $10 – $30 (USD) – this is huge savings when I’m buying a few different kinds. I bought the La Mer cleansing foam, La Mer refining facial, La Mer radiance infusion, La Mer moisturizing gel and even the creme der La Mer – so you will be expecting many La Mer reviews in a month’s time!

That’s it for now since I have to get the little boy ready for my next shopping spree before DH returns from his surfing lessons and box cutters meeting!

Sounds like so much fun! I’m looking forward to the La Mer reviews. Sometimes I think about buying La Mer products, but then I decide against it and stick with what I’ve got. I may just have to bite the bullet.
