Amidst the festive shopping activities during my trip, I came across some information on car donation which some of you might have already heard of. There is a very special ministry known as CarAngel Ministries that offers you and I the opportunity to play our part to bring hope and joy to the lives of many including the homeless, single moms, orphans, troubled teens, rehab as well as prison reform. This special program calls for a car or boat donation to the ministry to help those in need. By saying ‘car’, it can mean a truck, motorcycle, SUV, truck or even a bicycle. The thing is most people will discard any unused vehicles or worse, leave them to rot in their garages. Why don’t donate any unused or old car or boat to give hope to countless lives out there.
When you donate a boat or car, it is sold via auction and CarAngel will use the proceeds to fund the ministries and programs and through that, touch and impact more lives. All donations will be issued with receipts for tax filing purposes.
You may like to know that Car Angel (www.carangel.com) is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens and to date, they have given away over 2.4 million videos. Check it out!

CarAngel is a great charity. I think people usually overlook the RV, boat, motorcycle, etc options for donation. They do some great stuff and need your old unwanted vehicles!
