my la mer whitening collection
Well, I was supposed to be out for some last minute shopping for the house after the promotional facial at La Mer but I ended up with a couple of new items (not that I haven’t bought enough in US) at the La Mer counter. I had been introduced to the La Mer Whitening collection for a while but did not buy any since I was afraid that my face would become too white! See, I have a natural tan from birth and I have a light olive skin tone. I have had bouts of experiences with lots of whitening products but somehow, those brown spots are still evident with no signs of disappearance. It isn’t easy to deal with this uneven skin tone problem especially when I am blessed with fair skin.
Anyways, I bought the La Mer Whitening lotion and La Mer Whitening essence since the promotion came with a piece of the Whitening mask and a travel size whitening essence. The La Mer expert assured me that my face would not turned ‘white’ after use:) The facial was not that great but since the money paid for was used to redeem any of La Mer products in full, it was a good try. I guess I am too used to a 90minute facial with a bit of extraction. But this one was 45 of thorough cleansing, a light massage of the face and arms. My arms and hands had a luxury scrub with the La Mer refining facial so I had no complaints, really. But I will definitely not pay RM330 for this facial even though I was told that a 15ml of creme de La Mer was used to massage the face.
Let’s see my skin tone will ‘glow’ or appear radiant in the next couple of days before I can give a more accurate review. Usually, a face that underwent a facial would appear better in the next few days and that’s what a good facial would do for you. As for the products, I’ll give it a try and will review them in a few weeks’ time 
Now, I have to go shopping for new audio racks tomorrow before Chinese New Year.
