This lady has a unselfish passion and from her story of how Mayu was started, I believe she has a heart for social work and helping others.

Kate Robertson works directly with women who live in a rural community that sits high in the Andes Mountains of whom are also blessed amazing artistic skills. Mayu was started to support them and their families and through Mayu, these women are given the opportunity to earn fair, liveable wages.

After looking at the lovely scarves, hoodies and other knitted accessories, I have to agree that Mayu is for the women who are sophisticated, fun and informal individuals who are socially conscious and looking for one-of-a-kind pieces. I don’t even know I can do this beautiful knot with a simple scarf like this…
