my favourite Le Chèvrefeuille fragrance
Le Chèvrefeuille was created in 2002 by Camille Goutal who gathered her inspiration from the garden in her family home in Provence. She remembered the crowns of honeysuckle that she would weave with her cousins when they would play princess. This is my favourite perfume and my first from Annick Goutal which evokes the sun, the laughter of children, and a tender, carefree scent.
The honeysuckle flower has a suave, honeyed scent. Here, it is subtly transformed by the scents of the flower’s stem, which brings a fresh, grassy note to the perfume. Other aromas, such as the wild narcissus, a touch of jasmine, and a blade of lemon petit grain, combine to make this transparent, smiling fragrance that sings as much today as it did in its first days.
If you are not fond of strong floral perfume, try the light and subtle Le Chèvrefeuille fragrance. It remains my favourite after all these years… my third refill so far.
