my review: La Mer eye concentrate
I almost forgot that I haven’t done my review for my La Mer eye concentrate til I received a few comments asking me about my review. Looking back, it’s been three months since I bought the La Mer eye concentrate and here’s my review…
I have to say that this is the most expensive eye cream I have purchased in my entire life. It is hard not to like the nice green bottle and the special applicator, which is supposed to act as a ‘massager’ for the delicate eye area. I mean if you pay so much for an eye product, you do expect it to be a little unique in packaging.
After using it for 3 months, the La Mer eye concentrate has lived to its promise of a light and smooth texture and it has definitely helped to reduce the puffiness and dark circles under my eyes. It can be hard to spot a significant difference on some days especially when I’m looking at myself in the mirror everyday. But I like the cool sensation when the applicator goes around the eye and it somewhat helps in relaxing the eye area.
For $160, I believe the La Mer eye concentrate can last me for another 2 over months since you only need a little each time. I can’t tell you if I get a refill once this is finished as I am considering the La Mer eye balm too. Sometimes I do wonder if spending money on an expensive beauty product can psychologically makes us think that we are looking better, and that the product is bringing us the results it has promised. One thing I know, the La Mer eye concentrate will do nothing to erase those brown spots around my eyes. For that, I’m waiting for some results from my La Mer whitening collection
