When my cousin asked me to help her with her business card for her new flower shop, I was hesitant. I haven’t done corporate design for a while and in fact, I have retired from commercial graphic work. Then I recalled Logoyes, a DIY logo design website and thought I should check it out and see if I can help my cousin Marissa in any way I can.
In just 5 minutes, I managed to create a business card for her! Yay! There are lots of graphic icons to choose from and I settled for a stylized flower for Marissa. After choosing my font for the company’s name and choosing the appropriate colours to reflect Marissa’s free spirited style, the business card was created. With the built-in features at LogoYes, I don’t even have to worry about layout since there are several options suggested for my logo design. I can reduce and enlarge the font size of the name, address and other details on the card, move the logo and graphics around, change to whatever colour I like and bingo, the job is done!
