on health: what on earth does your colon do?
Not too long ago, I have been asked about what is the function of our colon. So what is it that your colon actually does? It removes the liquid from the waste material and turns it into a solid form that can be eliminated through the rectum. However, if the colon gets clogged with an accumulation of putrefying waste material, toxic build-up gets reabsorbed by the lungs and the skin. This can cause a host of problems including fatigue, lung congestion, skin eruptions and infections. This is why you need a colon cleanse.
Of all of the organs in our body, the colon is the organ that gets the most congested with an accumulation of toxic waste. Ridding your colon of these poisonous wastes should be the main goal of a good colon cleanse. Unless it is thoroughly cleansed, your blood, tissues, liver and other organs will just be re-infected by toxins coming from your colon.
Doing a proper colon cleanse is vital to reclaiming your health. When you have a healthy colon, you can forget about such things as strokes, diabetes, heart attacks, high cholesterol, fatigue, high blood pressure, weight problems and constipation. You will also find that you will need less medications, supplements, mouthwash, creams and deodorant. When shopping for your colon cleanse products, do take time to understand the ingredients and product info and if need be, consult your health practitioner before embarking on a cleansing program. Pregnant ladies should avoid any cleansing programs.
