see the world for free
When I was growing up as a teenager, I had the dream of becoming an air stewardess or a flight attendant. I admired the job of a SIA girl – the chance to shop around the world and see it for free and the fun of flying. But I didn’t have the height to even qualify for the interview so there was my unfulfilled dream. It was not in the last few years that they relaxed the qualifications but then, I was already over the age limit – LOL!
Actually, I don’t even know that there is a flight attendant school that caters to anyone who wants to pursue a career in the hospitality and travel industry. I believe an accreditation in a certified program in the flight attendant career will promise more advancement opportunities in the hospitality field. The International Air and Hospitality Academy provides courses for those who want a career in the airline, restaurant, culinary and hospitality industry. For more information, check out the flight attendant blog too.
