health benefits of goji
For a long time, the Chinese uses these little red nutritious berries for enhancing the flavour of soups, food, desserts in their cooking. I never know about the medicinal and health benefits until of late, when I saw them in the organic and health stores, and then from the internet.
Goji Berries are known to have more beta carotene than carrots, no wonder mom always tells me that they are good for my eyesight. I suppose these findings won’t surprise her
Packed with Vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E, they are high in antioxidants and have 500 times more than oranges!! That’s not it. Do you know that goji berries have 6 times more amino acids than bee pollen? 19 to be exact.
I bought a pack the other day after recommended by the health store owner since I had never eated them as snacks. They tasted a little sweet and a slight hint of mild bitterness, which made them a pleasant snack to munch. Great for kids and much preferred and healthier than potato chips and crackers.
