hope at the end of the tunnel
When I first entered the art and design field, it took me a while to get used to the culture, lifestyle and interests of this social circle. Obviously, we know that in the artistic community, there are many who may be leading alternative lifestyles but they are one of the most creative individuals around.
Over the years, I have also come to know that there are some who went somewhat overboard and lose control over their social life and got involved in lots of trouble including alcoholism, drug and Substance Abuse. It is sad when it starts to affect their personal life, relationship with their families, work life and future but in fact, there is always hope at the end of the tunnel. There are well recognized drug treatment centers who are able to reach out and help them on their desire and road to discovery. It not only get them out of this rut but equip them with confidence and mental strength to move forward in their lives after a period of treatment and recovery. With the understanding and care of counsellors, medical experts on board in the drug rehab and their loved ones, they can regain hope to start a new life with hope and determination.
