The concept of article directory sites and free web directories were only introduced to me two years ago when I attended an internet marketing seminar. At that time, I wonder why did people submit their articles to directory sites and why bother? Then, as I got more familiar with the web, blogging and internet marketing, I began to realize that web directory was a good channel of advertising and many of them were free. This is a good platform to reach the global market and introduce your products/services, particularly if they are web related though it may not be necessary so. Whether you are marketing an online or offline product, listing your business in a web directory will open up another business channel for your business growth.
