the simple things in life

Two more days and Mother’s day is here! I hope you have planned something for mom. Showing your love doesn’t have to cost alot. It can be a warm hug, a gentle kiss, a handmade card, a home cooked meal or just taking mom to a park for a stroll. Sometimes, we get so caught up with the material things of this world that we have forgotten the simple things in life. I’m not saying that buying gifts is not good but it’s about striking a balance of doing things from the heart. Always remember the famous saying that, “You can give with loving but you cannot love without giving”.

    I can’t wait until Mother’s Day. I thought it would be nice to cook my mom and her boyfriend a big meal : ]

    We don’t have a lot of recent pictures together but I just found a really good one from a few weeks ago, so I made her a copy and put it in a pretty frame.

    I think the little things really do matter the most!
