eco brown paper handbag for the eco-fashionista
Here’s one more cool and extragavant find for the eco shopper who doesn’t mind splurging in the name of going green. This may be one luxurious brown paper handbag I have ever seen. Though I was raising eyebrows on the price (175 GBP) at first glance at bouf.com. Giles Miller is known as the ‘cardboard king’ and his Brown Paper Handbag is a stylish yet eco-considerate product. Handmade from sustainably sourced corrugated cardboard, there is a leather strap fastened by chrome buckles.
I was initially worried about the 175 GBP being washed by rains and water but the fine invisible water-resistant layer is said to withstand the elements as well as any other hand bag. I believe it should hold your purse, keys and few personal items and even your diet pills but just don’t try to overload it with too much - don’t forget that it’s made of cardboard! Just for the eco-shopper records - the bag is made to order and does not come with any warranty. In other words, you will be buying it on your own risk

When I first looked at that purse I didn’t know it was made out of corrugated cardboard. It’s amazing what people can do nowadays with certain materials, especially cardboard. I guess the first question is, “what happens when it gets wet”?
