my new slate jersey and bastiste dress
Last trip in Singapore was a short but nice one cos I got to spend time with mom on Mother’s Day and did a little (just a little) shopping. I tried on a few items in Maxstudio.com and finally settled for this slate jersey and bastiste dress. Honestly, this dress didn’t appeal to me when I first saw it one month ago. It seemed a little ‘plain’ to me at that time but somehow, it looked better when it was worn, exuding that girlish charm:) It felt so comfortable as it was made of 100% soft quality superfine cotton. Other than a lightweight feel, it felt easy, effortless, casual and relaxed. I believe it will be one of those girlish dresses that I’ll wear for those weekend and casual outings. Great with leather sandals, ballerina shoes or mary janes.
