remember to wish dad a happy father’s day
My late father was never a fashion conscious man. He loved to be in his shorts and striped tee and in those days, Crocodile and Baleno were his favourites. I recalled mom hand picking new arrivals for his wardrobe since he was that sort of guy who never bought his own clothes. He was naturally stylish, not in his dress sense but his mannerisms and charismatic nature. He did have a love for cars when times were good and I enjoyed being a back seat passenger in his fast cars. Being the man of the house, he took care of most repairs like the exterior shutters and backyard fencing. The only regret I had was that I didn’t have the opportunity to know him better as hea and my mom were separated when I was a teenager.
I don’t know how your dad is like - stylish or fashionable. But if you have the chance this weekend, don’t forget to wish him “Happy Father’s Day” - even if you have not bought him any father’s day gift.
