the nice touches in putrajaya shangri-la hotel

The last few days have been pretty stressful for me. I discovered that something had gone wrong with this blog and being a non-techie blogger, it took me some time to find the relevant help. Then I was busy with an in-house training in Putrajaya and was staying with Putrajaya Shangri-la over the work trip.

Unlike most of the Shangri-la properties, Putrajaya Shangri-la is a boutique hotel is set in a relaxed and serene environment at the top of a small hill. I chose a fountain court room that opened up to a mini terrace where the fountain and little garden were therapeutic features to wake up to. A spacious room of 40 sq m, there was a nice workdesk and a luxurious bathroom with a large bathtub that opened to the room. To me, that was quite a nice touch to the room design. Compared to other Shangri-la properties, the rooms were reasonably priced at only $100USD but I figure that you won’t be staying here if you are a tourist as Putrajaya is a distance to the main Kuala Lumpur city. If I’m a tourist looking for a place to stay in Kuala Lumpur, I would prefer Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur and for longer stay, a condo hotel is much preferred.
