the wonderful decadent: chocolate
For many years, my best friend would send me chocolates for all the special occasions of the year – Valentine’s Day, birthday and Christmas – she never fails to send me a box of decadents. I have to confess that I used to be a real unhealthy teenager. Chocolates used to be my lunch, my quick snack before class and sometimes, my substitute if I had no time for dinner. My favourite has to be dark chocolates, handmade and gourmet if possible. Having tasted many gourmet ones from all over the world, I am choosy since I only allow myself a binge on certain occasions. It’s no longer that my teenage years. At this age, I ought to watch my heart health and waistline! But nevertheless, I still agree that chocolate is a wonderful gift idea. It’s always to hard to reject a box of gourmet ones when a gift is presented. It is no wonder it’s still a popular gift idea for all occasions.
