In less than a month’s time, we’ll be heading for our family vacation in Japan and Hong Kong. I’m very excited to snap picturesque shots of Tokyo, the countryside of Hakone, ancient Kyoto and Osaka. For the first time, I’m lugging my Nikon D80 overseas with my new 50mm lens. I’m hoping to go shopping for a compact flash for my trip but hopefully it doesn’t have to eat into my shopping budget! A compact flash will be great for low lighting days and shots that need a little more light. Besides the flash, I may go shopping for a zoom lens for landscape shots but that would mean another $500 at least for a 18mm - 200mm VR!
