bought a prada for my birthday
I won’t admit that I’m a bagoholic but I do like to buy a new bag during this vacation to Tokyo and Hong Kong. I have been in and out many bag stores from Prada, Agnes B, Samantha Thavasa and many others but it’s really hard to decide when there are so many choices out there!
DH knew that I am planning to go shopping for a new bag on my birthday but I did shocked him with a new Prada bag within half hour of my short shopping spree. It happened to be prada’s first sale of sale and some of the bags were at markdown prices of 40%! My friend who is a pain pump consultant couldn’t resist the attractive offers and so did I! I finally bought myself a light bronze leather bag and the truth is, I still don’t believe I have bought a Prada for my birthday! Yea, I’m one of those who choose and buy my own birthday gift. You have to do that when your other half isn’t the shopping sort or sensitive to your shopping needs!
Today I had some personal time and as usual, I decided to go shopping in Agnes B. I find it hard to resist the big patent Agnes B Voyage bag and it looks like I would need to decide if I should get it before leaving Hong Kong in a few days’ time! I cannot deny that Hong Kong is still ‘the’ place for good shopping and great selections!
keeping your children busy while you go shopping
I cannot deny the fact that Tokyo is a great place to go shopping for anything under the sun… the choices are amazing and marvelous! My regret after leaving Tokyo was that I didn’t buy the Burberry Blue Label bag I saw in Seibu… and I should have paid a couple more visits to my favourite Agnes B shops!
Well, it isn’t easy going shopping with a small child in tow. Sometimes, it got too stressful handling his crankiness but I often tried to understand his tolerance towards our tiring travel schedule. What I should have done was to buy him some travel size board books so that he could keep himself occupied while I go shopping. For those shopping moms who want to get your kids into some serious and fun reading, Allbookclubs.com is a great place to shop for children’s books while you save. Besides children’s books, there are all sorts of books and book clubs for other topics and interests. Better to keep your children busy with books than tonnes of computer games and tv programs.
