I have attended many weddings in the last couple of years from beach weddings to garden themed weddings. What thrills me is, I’ll be attending a purple wedding in August… how cool is that! With hesitation, I decided to go shopping for a purple themed dress last weekend but I wasn’t in luck at all. After much research in the web, I realized that I didn’t need a purple dress for the wedding. I can shop around for all shades of purple from lilac to lavender to deep violet… so all I need is to get creative with hues, tones and shades.

I was truly impressed by the purple wedding invite I received. It was a simple yet elegant dark purple card with silver wordings on the cover. The card has a silver organza ribbon running at the edge that brings a touch of romanticism. With a purple wedding theme, I can expect some cute favors in lavender or purplish tones. It must be fun for the wedding couple as they search for the right wedding favors for the occasion. The online technology has made ordering these favors alot easier and faster.

For the bride who is planning for her purple wedding, she would probably go shopping for purple wedding favors for her guests and purple flowers for her bouquet.
