Plan to Go Shopping for Eye Treatment Products
I wasn’t too happy when I saw this fine wrinkle underneath my left eye area 2 days ago. My eyes are looking tired too. No thanks to the few nights of disturbed sleep when I had to wake up to get some juice for my preschooler! Looks like I would need to go shopping for a good eye treatment product when I’m in Singapore this week.
For the last couple of years, I have been using La Mer’s eye concentrate and La Mer eye balm. Both eye care products from La Mer are great and did a wonderful job to keep my eye areas looking youthful and ‘fresh’ but I have been feeling a pinch in my pocket with the current economic downturn. If you can afford, these two eye treatment products do wonders for your eyes. But if you, like me are looking for some home remedies to care for the eye areas, then consider these tips:
1) Take some boiled tea in a cup of water. Once the water cools, dip two gauzes in it, place each of the gauzes on your eyelid for 15 minutes. Once the gauzes are dried, dip it again to gain the most from this remedy.
2) Lavender oil is another soothing agent which helps to keep your eyes fresh and radiant. Add a drop of this oil in two and half cup of water. Shake it well before using. You can use two cotton pads as eye pads which are dipped in this solution.
3) The first thing in the morning you see in the mirror is the puffed eyes. You can use two chilled and soaked chamomile tea bags and placed them on your eyelids.
4) Place couple of slices of chilled cucumber on your eyes and try to relax in a quiet place.
Just keep in mind that home remedies do not replace the need for good eye care and treatment products. I always believe that it is better to start caring for your skin when you are young than to wait till you reach middle age. This afternoon, I’ll be checking out on some pond supplies for DH. After that, I plan to go shopping for a few organic eye care beauty options at Skin Botanica, the stop for natural and organic beauty products. Use Coupon Code ORGANIC20 upon checkout to SAVE 20% on your purchase.
